A whirlwind experience through time, the MOTL will capture your soul, your heart and your imagination as you join with thousands of other Jewish teens from every country in the world with a Jewish community on to march from Auschwitz to march from Auschwitz I to Auschwitz II on the day that we commemorate the Holocaust – Yom Hashoah. Be a part of the ceremony that speaks to the international community that the young people who were slated not to exist, not only exist but are strong, vibrant and will then go on to travel to Israel and celebrate Israel Independence Day, Yom Ha’atzmaut in Jerusalem on April 26th with a sense of pride and transformative understanding of their Jewish heritage and history.
YOM HASHOAH and YOM HA'ATZMAUT are two of the most important Jewish days established in the 20th century. By taking part in these special events, you will share unforgettable moments in Jewish history and bear witness to the undying spirit of the Jewish people. Like those who participated in the last twelve Marches from Miami (1988, 1990, 1992, 1994, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, & 2010), you will return home with a new sense of yourself, your people and your history. It will be an experience that will remain with you for a lifetime.
