Miami Jewish Film Festival

Now in its 18th year, the Miami Jewish Film Festival is the only Jewish Film Festival (in North America) that is sponsored by a central agency for Jewish education.

  • The Festival is a one-week to ten-day celebration via film and documentaries, which focuses on Jewish culture, history, identity and peoplehood.
  • Opportunities are presented for interactive dialogue, discussion and debate relating to film offerings, and are complemented by educational resource material.
  • A Young Filmmakers Institute (which is part of the Festival) provides teens with opportunities to create brief film treatments utilizing Jewish values and themes.
