The one-day conference is designed for people involved in educational settings – complementary or day schools. Participants will register for the conference in teams. Each school/agency will be required to send a team of three people. The team might be comprised of a combination of principal/education director, the institutions’ technologists or “techies”, teachers, clergy, or education committee chairs/lay people. Hosted by a central agency or Federation, it is open to any teams wishing to apply from any part of the country.		 Broward County, FL. For day school applicants, contact Ayelet Kahane at akahane@avichaina.org.		 Applications, located at http://tinyurl.com/KadimaFL, will be accepted through October 10th, 2012 or until the conference reaches capacity

 Professional Development Workshop
The Immigration Experience: Sources of our Diverse Florida Community
The Jewish Museum of Florida offers this workshop conjunction with our upcoming exhibit, From Home to Home: Immigration to America. This workshop will provide teachers with interactive and creative classroom applications for the immigration theme in our two exhibits, MOSAIC: Jewish Life in Florida and From Home to Home. Teachers will create and share classroom activities based on the them of "People on the Move."
