The Educational Services Division provides coaching and consultation to school leadership in all areas related to student learning, professional development, instructional leadership, and curriculum design. On a communal level, the Educational Services Division facilitates professional learning communities for educational leaders in all Jewish educational settings in Greater Miami providing a rich forum for networking, problem-solving, and ongoing professional growth; administers school support services including general and Judaic studies, teacher licensing and certification; and oversees distribution of Federation funding for all Jewish school types.
The Greater Miami Jewish Federation and CAJE-Miami have partnered with JData, a groundbreaking on-line information system for Jewish educational organizations. JData is a user-driven system – each organization is responsible for inputting its information and the more data you put in, the more you can draw out.
Ways in which JData can help your organization are:
1. Prospective members and families – searching by location or denomination – can find you in the JData Directory.
2. Organize your core information – on enrollments, staffing, and budget – and have it readily at hand year after year.
3. Generate reports and graphs to share at committee, board, or staff meetings, or to use in your communications, marketing and fundraising materials.
4. If you are interested in more extensive use of data, you can conduct your own analyses on enrollments, staffing and budgeting in JData’s Research section.
