Friend and supporter of CAJE, Rita Spector, has launched a social and communal online (and beyond) network called: The Rita Spector Connector. Rita describes "the Connector" as “A Community of Women 50+ Focusing on Life, Health & Wellness, Travel, and JOY.”

Last week Rita’s featured guest, with a focus on spirituality, was our own head of CAJE, Rabbi Efrat Zarren-Zohar.

Busy at the helm of an Agency, the spotlight rarely falls on Rabbi Zarren-Zohar, but occasionally, when she can step away from managing, meeting, and working budgets, she gets the chance to share insightful reflection and ruminations on matters of the spirit.

We are grateful to Rita for this opportunity, and for her commitment to making the world happier, healthier, and more peaceful, by one woman 50+ at a time!

Join Rita and Rabbi for a discussion of "The I-Thou Relationship" (Spiritual vs. Transactional) inspired by the writings of Martin Buber.

Growing Together: Reflections from the 2025 Paradigm Project Conference

Last week, I had the privilege of participating in the 2025 Paradigm Project Conference, held in Tarrytown, NY, a picturesque and peaceful setting that beautifully matched the spirit of reflection, learning, and connection that filled the days. It was a truly uplifting gathering of hundreds of passionate early childhood educators from across the country who are committed to reimagining what Jewish ECE can look and feel like for children, families, and educators. The energy throughout the conference was electric; the learning was deep, and the sense of belonging to a shared movement was palpable.
