12 cheers for 12 schools that are participating in the 2019-2020 Miami Jewish Day School Robotics Program, which teaches our day school children coding in a fun, interactive way.

3 new schools have joined our cohort-- David Posnack Jewish Day School, Lubavitch Educational Center, and Rohr Middle School-- as we expand our program to 5th grade and Middle School thanks to another grant from Federation’s Miami-Yerucham Partnership.

This past week, teachers from the 3 new schools got together at CAJE for a training given by our local coach, Ilana Traub. The training was scheduled from 9am to 4pm every day, but teachers would arrive around 8am just to get extra time with their robots.

“It is so energizing to see teachers so passionate about such a great program. The excitement this past week was through the roof. Being able to train these dedicated teachers and seeing them work together made me even more enthusiastic about the Robotics Program and that much more eager to start!”, expressed Ilana.

Teachers from our training have approached some of their peers in other schools to share their excitement about the Miami Jewish Day School Robotics Program.

The school year hasn’t even started but our teachers are ready and raring to go! It looks like another amazing year ahead for Robotics!
