“CAJE’s Kavanah Coaching has taught me the power of active listening and powerful questioning, which allows me to engage better with my teens." - Cohort 1 Participant
CAJE’s Kavanah Coaching, Jewish Education and Life Coaching for Youth Professionals, teaches youth professionals how to coach Jewish teens using the skills of life-coaching. CAJE created a 60-hour curriculum to train professionals working in the teen landscape so they could learn how to partner with teens to inspire their growth and development.
A Cohort 1 participant explained:
[The Kavanah Coaching training has been] an incredible learning and growing experience by highly talented and trained professionals!”
Cohort 1 is comprised of youth workers from NCSY, Stand with Us, Temple Beth Am, Temple Judea, Ohr Fellowships, CTeen, Hillel at FIU, March of the Living, and Diller Teen Fellows. Many of the professionals have expressed how impactful the coaching program has been for them to help guide their teens in thinking through their problems and achieving their goals.
Another Cohort 1 participant emphasized:
“I am so grateful for this opportunity. I have gained vital tools that will enhance both my personal and professional life. Thank you CAJE and Kavanah Coaching!”
We are excited that Cohort 1 participants have found so much value in our program and we are getting prepared to launch Cohort 2 in the Fall of 2020.
Run by Carly Orshan, CAJE’s Teen Department Director, Kavanah Coaching: Jewish Education and Life Coaching for Youth Professionals, is funded by the Covenant Foundation, one of the premier Jewish educational foundations in North America, with a grant for $150,000 over three years to CAJE.
