Have you or someone you know participated on a teen March of the Living experience?

CAJE would like to know how to better contact you or them.

This past fall, after concluding our Strategic Plan for the Leo Martin March of the Living under the leadership of Moj Danial, Laura Koffsky and Tara Solomiany, CAJE immediately dove into developing one of the key Strategic Recommendations: Launching a New Alumni Engagement Initiative.

But how do you activate roughly 2,500 alumni that span 30+ years, many of which were long before email and cell phones even existed?

Among other strategies, it took the help of thirty Alumni Ambassadors, amazing representatives from the various years, to build accuracy within our database so we could have a list that went from 20% when we began to over 55% accuracy today.

Carly Orshan, Director of CAJE’s Teen Department, created a comprehensive alumni engagement plan with her staff to re-engage alumni to serve as a voice for survivors and provide resources so alumni can stand up against contemporary antisemitism

As a result of our social media campaign, we saw a huge increase in our following-- on Instagram a jump of 295% and on Facebook an increase of 113%!

We have a long way to go, but with your help and others in our community, we can continue to build our alumni network.

If you were a “hugger,” a bus captain, a madrich or madricha, or you know a Marcher who went on our program, please provide us with your/their updated contact information or share the following with them:

Our survivors constantly beg us:

“Please be our witnesses when we are gone.
Please don’t let it happen again.
Please remember and act!”

We would like to help every March alum be in contact, so s/he can do just that.

Thank you for your help!
