Julie Lambert, RJE, MAJE/MAJNM  is the Associate Director of Congregational Innovation for the Union for Reform Judaism. She serves as a part of the Innovation strategy team, where she is using her expertise in professional learning design and facilitation to increase the intentionality, efficiency, and accountability of the of the URJ Innovation and Change models. Most recently her work has centered around the governance and leadership principles for congregations through network learning opportunities, online course design, and coaching URJ congregations.

Julie is also a Senior Consultant for the Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education in Miami where she co-leads, designs, and implements various professional learning experiences for the Day School network. Julie has 23 years of professional leadership experience in the Jewish community both locally and nationally. She served as the Director of Professional Learning Initiatives and Early Childhood Education Strategy for the Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education (CAJE) in Miami. Her strategic thinking and expertise in strategic planning, program design, and instructional leadership have impacted the quality of education throughout the Miami system.

Julie is a Senior Consultant for Learning Forward (learningforward.com). Learning Forward supports members and systems in leveraging the power of professional learning to effect positive and lasting change. She serves as program consultant for the Jewish New Teachers project. Additionally, Julie is an adjunct instructor for the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in the School of Education in which she teaches first year students courses in Professional Learning and Supervision. Her career started as the Education Director of Temple Judea in Coral Gables for seven years Julie graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Comparative Literature and a certificate in Jewish Studies. She holds a Joint Master’s Degree in Jewish Education and Non-Profit Management from the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. Julie was awarded the prestigious Wexner Graduate Fellowship in 1994 and is a member of Class VII.
