What documents and items are needed for an application?
All applications must be completed before being sent to the Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education (CAJE) for review and approval.
All payments must be made in full before the application process will proceed.
What is the process for an application?
All necessary forms, transcripts, payment(s) and documentation must be submitted to CAJE in order for an application folder to be opened. Once all the necessary documents have been submitted, the file is reviewed for approval.
Do I need official transcripts?
Yes. Official transcripts from all seminaries, colleges, universities, and training institutions are required. In the case of some international institutions, transcripts must be translated. How many years is my certificate valid? A certificate is valid for 3 years. You will be notified by CAJE 1 year before your certificate expires that you need to renew it.
What if I already have a certificate and I need to renew it?
Visit the CAJE-Miami website (https://caje-miami.org/schools/cert/) for instructions on how to renew your certificate.
In order for a certificate to be renewed, 45 hours of professional growth coursework must be completed between the date of issue and the date of expiration.
